Three-in-One Sports Field Construction (Basketball, Volleyball & Handball)

The Three-in-One Sports Field Construction project was undertaken in Akaki Kality Sub City, Addis Ababa, to provide a modern multi-purpose sports facility that supports youth development, physical fitness, and community engagement. The project was designed to maximize the use of available space by integrating basketball, volleyball, and handball courts within a single professionally constructed sports complex.

The scope of work included site clearing and preparation, excavation, earthworks, sub-base and base course construction, reinforced concrete edge beams, high-quality sports court pavement, installation of basketball systems, volleyball posts, and handball goal posts. Additional works included perimeter fencing with wire mesh, entrance gates, drainage systems, walkways, lighting infrastructure, and landscaping to ensure safety, durability, and long-term functionality.

Constructed in accordance with engineering standards and modern sports facility specifications, the project provides a safe and accessible environment for schools, youth organizations, and the surrounding community. The completed facility enhances recreational opportunities, encourages active lifestyles, supports local sports development, and serves as an important public asset for Akaki Kality Sub City.
