AFAR NATIONAL REGIONAL STATE PASTORIAL & AGRO PASTORAL DEVELOPMENT BUREAU

The Afar National Regional State Pastorial & Agro Pastoral Development Bureau Pastoral Training Center project was undertaken in Koneba to support pastoral and agro-pastoral development through improved training and knowledge-sharing facilities. The project aimed to provide a modern and functional center dedicated to education, skill development, and capacity building for pastoral communities and related stakeholders.

The scope of work included site preparation, foundation works, structural construction, masonry works, architectural finishing, and installation of essential utility systems such as electrical, water supply, sanitation, and drainage infrastructure. The facility was designed to provide a comfortable and efficient learning environment while meeting modern construction and safety standards.

Executed with a strong emphasis on quality, durability, and long-term functionality, the project was successfully completed in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements. The completed pastoral training center plays a significant role in enhancing knowledge transfer, improving pastoral livelihoods, and supporting sustainable socio-economic development in Koneba and the wider Afar region.
